Testimonials

  • "My wife and I recently had our first child and had the pleasure of working with Danielle during the first few weeks of being new parents. We can enthusiastically recommend her based on our outstanding experience. Due to the unexpectedly early arrival of our daughter and some schedule changes with another doula, Danielle came highly recommended and was able to step in to help on very short notice. She met us at our home the day we returned from the hospital and her calm and knowledgeable presence was a big source of support and reassurance amid totally new circumstances. We worked together over the span of several weeks, during which time she had a clear and well organized plan for covering key childcare skills; we were able to cover a lot of ground quickly and learned a ton. Danielle is uniquely talented in teaching new parents in a reassuring and supportive manner and her skill and experience in newborn care are clearly evident. We would certainly recommend working with Danielle without reservation."

  • "We hired Danielle to do daytime Doula work for us the first two weeks after my son's birth and then 5 weeks of night time help. Danielle was a dream. During her daytime visits, she supported me as a mother and gave me insight and advice on having a newborn. She cooked a meal for us, tidied, and took the baby while I rested. Even at nighttime, we were able to grab some much needed rest. Danielle also met with us to provide emotional and practical support for us. She again would tidy for us and even did some light breakfast cooking. When the baby blues hit, she was a gentle ear to listen and provide comfort and insight. My son had thrush while breastfeeding and Danielle not only navigated all the extra work that required well (sterilizing a lot!), but again supported me in my goals of continuing to breastfeed. She is kind, compassionate, empathetic, and hard working. She was also always on time and in great communication with us. My husband and I both felt a peace and comfort having her in our home. She was supportive emotionally, physically, and psychologically. Our only regret was not having her longer. Do not hesitate to allow Danielle to truly support you in all the ways you need."

  • "As a mom of 2 kiddos, and having received help from night doulas during both postpartum journeys, I know a great one when I meet one! We connected with Danielle when my 2nd born (son) was about 3 months old and she helped me survive through all the sleep regressions and transitions. She’s a quiet and tender-hearted soul, just what you need for some nighttime relief as a mama! What I loved about Danielle the most is that she’ll meet you where you’re at in your motherhood journey. She will listen to what works for your family and step in to fill the void that’s needed, offering supporting advice when requested. Most importantly, she’s great with the babes! She quickly learns their own unique cues and rhythms and identifies their needs on their sleep and feeding journeys. I think being an experienced mom herself is what fuels her soothing way with babies. Reserve her while you can because she’s one of the good ones!"

  • “Danielle was my postpartum night doula for 10 weeks with my second born, and this was my first experience hiring a doula. What started as a shorter stint ended up being so helpful that I decided to extend. She was thoughtful, reliably on time, and considerate as unexpected things came up. We had our baby during the second wave of Covid and she was so accommodating with our asks, including wearing PPE and taking rapid tests when she found out she was exposed. Having a new person in your intimate bubble during the early newborn days is daunting, but she was so easy to connect with and offered multiple suggestions to try to make me and my baby comfortable. She was also receptive to feedback and adjusting her style during our time together so my needs were met quickly. It’s tough letting a new person in and you can’t expect them to anticipate your needs, but that’s why this job is so hard. It requires clear communication in a gentle way when stress is high because your whole world just got flipped. Danielle was open and caring to both me and my baby and once I knew what my needs were and expressed them, she met them and created harmony for us during those nights. For that, I will always be grateful.”

  • “Danielle is a true lifesaver! I hired her for overnight services, as my second-born was a terrible sleeper, and she came up with a plan to help my baby get more restful sleep. Within a few nights, my baby was sleeping 5 hour stretches. Danielle always went above and beyond, not just with the usual baby care, but also by helping with house chores, laundry, and providing emotional support. As a second-time mom dealing with an exhausted routine, her expertise in creating a daytime schedule saved my sanity. Even on her days off, Danielle kept in touch with me, and always offered valuable advice. She continues to check in on us regularly. I adore her, she is wonderful and I would hire her over and over again. She is truly worth every penny!!”

  • "I had never heard of a Postpartum Doula until my friend gave birth. A few months later when I gave birth, Danielle was recommended by that same friend. Hiring Danielle for postpartum support was the best thing I've ever spent my money on. As a single mom, having Danielle by my side brought so much relief. She became my entire support system, ensuring I could get the rest I needed while caring for my baby. Dealing with my baby's acid reflux was challenging, but Danielle always went above and beyond to help. She would stay up all night, holding my baby upright for comfort. Her recommendation of a pediatric chiropractor made a significant difference in alleviating my baby's reflux. I'm endlessly grateful to Danielle for her dedication and the positive impact she's had on both me and my baby."
